Hello there! I'm Denise.
A Perth content strategist for Australian small businesses.
Writing about yourself is the hardest part.
And sometimes, you just need a third person to write and sell your brand for you. That’s where I come in.
My career began in lecturing before it turned into full-time marketing. Throughout it all, I’ve always worked in small businesses (not by design, but glad that it happened!).
Then in 2019, I decided to take a leap and open my own copywriting business. Anyone in marketing will know that the industry doesn’t stay still, and anyone in business will tell you that owning one is a steep learning curve.
But still, I love what I do. I’m passionate about writing and marketing. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my client numbers grow because of something I did.

Because Inkspot Marketing is a small business.
As an owner of a small business myself, I know the joys and pains of owning a business all too well – whether it’s celebrating a big client signup, losing sleep over your numbers, or doing the countless admin.
More importantly, I know that small businesses can’t afford big marketing budgets (or big budgets in general, really). Most agencies charge extremely high prices for marketing, which can be disheartening for small business owners who lack the budget.
