Financial Copywriter
Let’s turn your complicated jargon into easy words your customers can understand. Inkspot Marketing helps Aussie accountants, business advisors, and insolvency specialists turn complex services into content that builds trust and brings in real leads.

Does this sound familiar?
You know your work is good, yet your competitors are getting more calls than you.
You’ve tried writing the copy yourself, but between client meetings and work, there’s just not enough time.
You tried using AI, but it just isn’t there. Your website reads like everyone else.
You want good quality content that shows you know your stuff. Not fluff.
The marketing agencies you’ve spoken to charge a fortune and don’t really understand finance.
What you need is to hire an experienced financial services copywriter in Perth who can give you the right content strategy from the start.

Hi, I’m Denise. I get your industry
Writing about tax, trusts, and small business restructuring is hard. As a financial services copywriter with decades of experience, I turn your ideas into marketing content your customers will understand and trust.
My niche is writing for accountants, business advisors, and insolvency specialists across Australia. I know the difference between EBITDA and CAGR. And I know your clients aren’t reading your website to admire your prose (they’re trying to figure out if they can trust you.)
At Inkspot, I don’t do big agencies, massive retainers, or jargon. I work with a small number of clients, many of whom have been with me for years.
If you’re looking for good quality content writing for financial services, or perhaps some marketing help that’s a seamless extension of your company, let’s have a chat.

FAQs
What does a financial copywriter do?
A financial copywriter strategises, plans, and writes your content. The types of content I can write as a financial copywriter are blogs, website pages, eBooks, brochures, digital and traditional advertisements, letters, reports, CVs, social media posts and captions, and other marketing content. Many companies think that copywriters only write, but there’s strategy involved too – I essentially write and plan all your digital marketing activities.
Can you handle compliance-sensitive copy?
Absolutely. Your license is important to me as it is to you. I understand that your marketing content needs to have the occasional disclaimers to avoid liabilities. We can work together to discuss what to say and not to say in your content. All content will go through your approval before publishing, and we’ll have a discussion on what types of words need to be added to your content.
Do you only work with Perth-based finance businesses?
I’m a financial services copywriter in Perth, but I work with other companies across Australia. In fact, plenty of my financial clients come from Melbourne and Sydney. We can communicate via Zoom or email, and you can also add me to your CRMs and productivity platforms. I can help you create marketing content no matter where you’re located.
Can I scale this up as my firm grows?
Definitely! I’d encourage you to scale it up as your firm grows, if you’re trying to target a different customer base, or even during peak periods. That’s one of the benefits of my flexible marketing packages – we focus on what you want to do every month, but we can also plan our monthly activities.
What can you do with 8 hours of content a month?
I typically prioritise what you need to get the best results, but here’s what I typically can do with 8 hours in a month:
- Write 5 website pages with keywords
- Write 3 blogs (including outlines, keyword research, writing, and proofreading, OR
- Write one email, 2 blogs, and update your LinkedIn profile
- Write 1 blog, one website page, and 2 social media copies
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
Nope. I’m confident in my work and that you will find me a handy marketing partner to be around. Most of my clients have stuck with me for almost 3 years without a contract. At Inkspot Marketing, I work on flexible monthly retainers that give you control over what content you’d like to prioritise each month. If it’s not working, you can pause or cancel anytime (but I don’t think you’ll want to!).
Do you write specifically for financial advisors?
No. Besides financial advisors, I’ve also worked with accountants, restructuring practitioners, bankruptcy trustees, mortgage brokers, and insurance advisors. Financial copywriters work with all types of professional companies, and I’m equipped to write for anyone in the financial space or those who deal with numbers.
How long until I see SEO results?
Usually 3-6 months. But this depends on how much marketing content you produce. It also depends on how much time you spend working with me on creating the best content. In my experience, businesses that take the time to iron out their target audience and content type usually get better results. At Inkspot, we’ll do all the planning and backend to get your brand the best points on Google and AI search, but I do ask for your original input on most content, because this is how we get the AI models to recognise your business.
What’s the difference between general copywriting and content writing for financial services?
General copywriting is writing blog posts for the general public or audience. Financial content writing is creating content (i.e. website pages, blogs, advertisements, eBooks, brochures) for finance companies. For example, financial content could be a blog titled ‘5 Misconceptions of Small Business Restructuring.’ Content for finance companies is more niche and related to the economy, making it slightly more technical.
What if I’m not sure what kind of financial services content I need?
That’s exactly what our free chat is for. I’ll review your current marketing and recommend what financial services content you need to make a difference in your content, whether that’s blogs, social media, SEO, or something else. For example, blogs help us build more brownie points for SEO and increase our search goals, but ads can increase our reach and target seasonal events (i.e. EOFY)
Can I use AI tools to write content rather than a financial copywriter?
Not if you want to get your customers’ trust and see results. AI can write fast, but it can’t strategise what content will actually bring in leads, optimise for SEO, or write in your unique brand voice. Almost 70% of customers have said that they do not trust companies that use AI. Think about how this will damage your reputation in the long run. For more information, read my blog here on why using AI to write your content is a bad idea.
